So you want to know a little bit about RuckerJohns? The best place to start is with the answer to our most commonly asked question; how did we get the name RuckerJohns?  Well the answer is quite simple.  The proud owners of RuckerJohns are Chris and Polly JOHNS along with Polly’s mother Deborah RUCKER.  We decided that since this is a family oriented restaurant the best name for our establishment would come from combining both family names giving us RuckerJohns.

It has been over 20 years now and we are proud to still be operating in Emerald Isle along with a store in Wilmington and one in Greenville.

The Johns and Deborah Rucker seek to maintain the higher path for RuckerJohns even when there could be a more cost effective way to do things in this industry. However, maintaining a high consistency and quality that is affordable to families today remains a goal they started with and seek to continually reach for. Chris, Polly and Deborah fully understand that next to God’s place in the business, their extended family of employees have had a huge part in the success that RuckerJohns has achieved, and the blessing of a very loyal and devoted customer base.  So that is a little about the immediate family of RuckerJohns!
